The S6800 comes with 16.0 effective megapixels and a 12x optical zoom that covers 25mm to 300mm (35mm format equivalent) from the wide angle. Its 24x Dynamic Fine Zoom* covers approximately 600mm (35mm format equivalent). Even at the maximum optical telephoto position, with the electronic zoom, the focal length range can be further extended by 2x while maintaining optimum resolution.

Shoots perfectly, edits easily
Edit your photos like never before with versatile image-editing functions. The Glamour Retouch lets you add a tinge of glitz to your pictures. With added Special and Quick effects, you can edit the same image for up to 10 times, edit on a smaller image before exporting the changes to the actual image and even edit on images with aspect ratios of other than 4:3.

Make movies that move you
Record and edit Full HD movies in the 1080p/60i format. The Nikon S6800 also inspires movie making with features like optical zoom shooting, a ‘Record-Pause’ function and saving a still image during movie recording.
