Firstly, I must place on record the exceptional packing by 'theitdepot'. It couldn't have been better; it took me almost 15 minutes to unpack the item. Needless to say that the item reached me without a scratch.
Coming on to the case itself: It is a big case and the height makes it look even bigger (this has been necessitated to provide space for a top radiator). Since I am not using a radiator, in my opinion, it would have been perfect if the height were about 40 mm less. But then this size means that installation of components is a breeze. These is plenty of space above the motherboard, and even some space between the motherboard (mine is an ATX mobo) and the PSU at the bottom. There is plenty of space for drives: 3 x 5.25" and 8 x 3.5/2.5", and an additional 2 x 2.5' drives behind the mobo. The 3.5" bays come in two sections of four bays each, and the top part can be removed tool-free. Since I was using only 3 x 3.5" HDDs, and one SSD, I could remove the top part and provide for better airflow in the case. In addition I am using a DVD writer and a fan controller which fits into the 5.25" drive (The case has its own fan controller with two settings). I prefer myfan controller which gives better control over the fan speeds. I am using 5 case fans. Here one small grouse - the front only accepts 120 mm fans. Option for 140 mm fans would have been great. I am using a Scythe Fuma twin tower CPU cooler with 3 x 120 mm fans (this keeps CPU temps at very low levels). The additional space at the top facilitates access to the CPU cooler (in my earlier Corsair case there was absolutely NO space at the top).
The only real grouse I have about the case is the front panel. It has a removable panel for the front fans to suck in air. It has to be left open, and this make the case look untidy. They should have provided a grille for this. Because of this, I have cut one star. I did my own mod and put two fan covers in front to cover the opening.
The side window is clear perspex, and not tempered glass. But, it is big, and shows the details of the build very nicely. There is adequate space behind the motherboard for cable management, and this permits you to have a very clean interior. Antec had provided three case fans. These are non-LED. So, I have used my own fans with LED to enhance the looks of the interior.
On the whole this is an excellent case from Antec with a few minor niggles. It is also very competitively priced by 'theitdepot'.I will recommend this case for serious builders.
