EOS Scene Detection System, featuring Scene Intelligent Auto.
EOS scene detection system incorporates scene detection and analysis featured in previous cameras with the addition of the Picture Style Auto for optimum control of more shooting scenes than previously possible. By systematically linking the analysis information of exposure, focus, white balance, auto lighting optimizer and the new Picture Style Auto, the Scene Intelligent Auto mode creates the optimal image according the scene shot. 

Picture Style Auto
Based on the EOS Scene Detection System's analysis, Picture Style Auto makes fine adjustments to colours, making them more saturated and vivid. Especially suited for images with lots of blue sky, greenery and sunset scenes.

Basic + - Shoot by ambience
Choose from a selection of settings based on Picture Style and its parameters (Standard / Vivid / Soft / Warm / Intense / Cool / Brighter / Darker / Monochrome)

Creative filters 

Choose from a selection of 5 types of filters (Grainy B/W / Soft Focus / Toy Camera Effect / Miniature Effect and Fish-eye Effect). Filters can be applied to RAW and all JPEG images.
Each filter is customizable to users intention

Video Snapshots
Record short video snippets (2, 4 or 8 seconds), stitch all of them sequentially into video snapshot albums complete with bundled background music or with imported external music.

Copyright information
If "creator" and "copyright owner" are set in the camera using EOS utility, the information will be recorded in EXIF data.

Multiple aspect ratios 
EOS 600D can not only shoot at the current ratio of 3:2, but also able to shoot at aspect ratios of 4:3, 1:1 and 16:9. This allows users to match the playback environment for displaying of images. Images with any of the aspect ratios can also be resized.
