SoundMagic E10M In-Ear-Headphone

Pros: The headphones have a nice feel to it. The drivers are good. it comes a neat little black carrying pouch with sufficient pairs of silicon ear tips suitable for all types of ear canals. It offers good noise isolation.
One of the nicest parts of this pair of in ear headphones is that bass is very good and seem exactly the right amount one would want to hear. The mids and lows sound very clear. Highs are also impressive.It still remains clear when you crank up the volume. distortion is very faint at these levels. The sound quality is impressive and frankly one of the best i heard in this price range..

Cons: Price is a bit high..Philips SHE6000 in ear headphone are a cool Rs 800 cheaper and still manage to offer almost similar performance(though they start to get noisy at very loud volume..but who listens at deafening levels). Has only 1 year warranty where as company like Sennheiser offers two year warranty.. The microphone does not work with Nokia mobile phone and most other phones. I tested it on Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Micromax Q7. Volume adjuster did not work on these devices.

Bottom Line: Good pair of headphone dont usually come for Rs 2000. But this one is an exception. It is not a bad investment for audiophiles who want a good pair of earphone to use while traveling or sit back and listen to good music on a lazy sunday afternoon. 8/10.. loses points on the mic and volume controls
