What is a Shopping Cart?
An online shopping cart is similar to the cart you use in physical supermarkets. You add items that you wish to purchase into it and proceed to pay for your order. Just as in a supermarket you can add as many items as you want from any of the categories before check out.
First and foremost, unlike many other online shopping sites that source the products *after* you place an order with them, we have more than 95% of the fast moving products listed on our website in stock with us. This means that your orders are fulfilled much faster. Our pricing policy makes sure that you get the best deals on any product that you order from us - all products are priced at much below the actual MRP.
What is My Account?
"My Account" allows you complete control over your transactions at Theitdepot. Not only can you manage / edit all your personal data like address, phone numbers, email ids, you can change your user ids and passwords. You can also track the status of your pending orders or edit them through this section.
Why do I need to Log-on to access my shopping cart?
I have forgotten my password at Theitdepot.com. What should I do?
You can retrieve your password if you remember your login ID. Go to the page and enter your login ID in the textbox provided at the bottom of the page. Then click the Recover Password button. Your password will be emailed to you at the email address that you provided while registering with us. In case you're unable to recover your forgotten password, you can email us at email@example.com
What are your shipping charges?
A shipping charge is applicable on all items at Theitdepot except for Theitdepot Gift Certificates. To find out the actual shipping charges applicable for various items, please read through the Theitdepot Shipping Charges and Policies.
What does "Recommend to a Friend" mean?
All items at Theitdepot have a "Recommend to a Friend" option. Using this, an email is sent to your friend on your behalf, with a recommendation message.
I'm looking for a product that is not listed on your website. Can you help?
If a product is not listed on our website, it does not necessarily mean that we do not have it in stock. If you're looking for a product that is not listed at Theitdepot, please e mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
. We will try to put the product for sale online and send you an email notification as soon as possible.
What about other taxes and levies like sales tax, octroi etc.?
All item prices on Theitdepot are inclusive of sales tax (wherever applicable), and hence you need not add any extra value toward sales Taxes. Some states in India however have additional levies like octroi. These are additional and need to be borne by you, wherever applicable

What do I do in case I receive a defective / damaged item from Theitdepot?
All products are insured for transit damage If a product has been damaged in transit please contact us immediately. If a new product is defective and is not working please email us at support@Theitdepot.com
for details on how to proceed with service and replacement. Please do not accept any package that has been opened. All products are sealed and then dispatched. If the seal is broken do not accept the package and mention the same on the airway bill.
How can I return a product ordered from Theitdepot?
For all IT components Once the box packing has been opened it cannot be restocked and resold without informing the customer that it is an opened piece, furthermore the warranty, registeration etc make returns a problematic issue. A few products can be returned If the product has not been opened and is returned, a 15% restocking fee will be levied. Please confirm with firstname.lastname@example.org
before returning the product to confirm whether the product can be returned or not

How safe is it to shop online with a credit card?
At Theitdepot, it is safe to use your credit card to make payment for your order. Further, at Theitdepot, we do not collect any credit card information. All credit card details are processed directly at the bank Payment gateway and as such you can be rest assured.
How safe is my personal information with Theitdepot?
Is there any minimum order value that I need to order?
No. You can order as much or as little you want from any of our stores. At Theitdepot, we believe that all orders, irrespective of their values are equally important.
Can I cancel an order or change the order after it is placed?
Yes and No. For specific products the order can be cancelled but for some products the product is procured specifically against this order and it cannot be returned. Please check with customer service if it is possible to cancel an order for the particular product.
How do I check the current status of my orders?
You can review the status and other information of all your orders, whether pending or fulfilled, that you have placed with Theitdepot. To check the status of your pending orders, click on the “My Account” link in the top right of any page on our store. This will take you to your My Account page, where you can click on the “Order status” link to view the status of your order.
To review the details of orders that have already been fulfilled, you can click on “History” link on your My Account page. To get the details of a specific order, click on the specific Order Number.
My order is shown to be in ‘Pending approval’, ‘Pending Authorisation’, ‘In Process’; state. What does it mean?
Your order passes through several states before it finally enters the 'Delivered' state after it is delivered to you or to the shipping address you entered while ordering. The following are the states through which the order goes through and their meanings:
Pending Approval :
Your order has been logged on the store. The order will be verified for delivery address and availability of product.
Pending Authorization :
We have yet to get the authorisation from the bank or we are waiting for the bank to get back to us with the authorisation of your order.
In Process :
We have received the payment approval from the bank and we are processing your order.We have started the process of procuring the items in your order and are waiting for them to be delivered to us.
Ready to ship :
We have procured the items in your order, have packed the items and will handover the consignment to our delivery partner for shipment.
Your order has already been shipped out of our warehouse and is on its way to your delivery location.
