My CPU was running a lot hot with the stock cooler, since i had unlocked a dual core Phenom II 545 to a quad core Phenom II B45. The average idling temp was about 55C and on load, it used to shoot upto 75C. After installing the cooler, the idling temps are about 43C and load temps are about 55C. This is with a room temp of about 38C.
The installation of the Cooler was a breeze. Just apply the thermal paste and lock it down with a screw. The fan sound is inaudible at idle, but become faintly audible at load which is such an improvement over the stock cooler which used to sound like a wind tunnel. Do i have any regrets buying this cooler? NO!!
