Key changes to AMD’s CPUs and chipset enable us to make X670 a truly next-gen platform. Fabricated on a cutting-edge 5nm process, Ryzen 7000-series processors slot into the all-new AM5 socket. As an LGA-style socket, the pins are on the motherboard, not the CPU, making any accidental bending or damage to the pins less likely. AM5 supports up to a 170W TDP, enabling exceptional compute performance for high-core-count CPUs in heavy workloads.
